Family-Friendly Spot with Generous Portions This place truly lives up to the โfamily restaurantโ name โ it has a warm, welcoming atmosphere thatโs perfect for dining out with family or friends. The portion sizes are definitely generous, so come hungry or plan to share! While the pasta was a bit overcooked for my taste, the sauce was flavorful and fresh. The fried octopus stood out โ nicely done and very fresh. Service was attentive and pleasant throughout our visit. If youโre planning to go around 6 PM, Iโd recommend making a reservation in advance, as it can get busy during peak hours.

Pasta Too GOOD - A winner because it hits all three keys for success - taste, quantity and price BAD - Nothing I can recall - if you don't come hungry, you could regret it (in a good way) With my 50% Italian roots, Iam very picky and discerning over Italian food. Who would have thought that some of best Italian I've had (short of Mom's cooking) in the last 10 years would be in the Pittsburgh Burbs. It's true, Pasta Too rose to the occasion. All my dishes were excellent. The creative stuffed breadsticks eat like giant Italian egg rolls. The spinach and cheese was divine. My gnocchi with vodka sauce was wonderful. The pasta was fork tender and the sauce, savory. The hummingbird cake (coconut and banana) was HUGE, densely moist and delicious. The slice could feed three people. My server was very nice and patient given the busy floor. Price is fair - not because it's cheap, it's moderate but the portions are SO BIG you leave with 2 or 3 more meals and that's where the price comes down. If you are in the Pittsburgh area and enjoy Italian, this place is a MUST.
Would be 5 stars if not for the ice box temperature of the dining room. Multiple tables overheard complaining in addition to ours. Food was very good with generous portions.
Accidentally found this gem of a restaurant. From the minute we entered, we were greeted, sat immediately, and our server was already taking our drink order. The atmosphere was amazing! Fall decor inside and out. The food was made to perfection. We had the Fettuccine Alfredo and Shrimp Scampi. The portions sizes were plenty. The prices were higher but worth it. Our server was friendly but a bit slow in refilling our drinks or checking back in with us. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Some friends and I met at Pasta Too for dinner. The food was delicious! I have been there many times and always enjoy going there. This time I got the (crabmeat stuffing) stuffed mushrooms ($13.95) for an appetizer and Fettuccine Alfredo ($16.95) with chicken ($5.00) and shrimp ($7.00) added. For dessert I took home a slice of Oreo cheesecake ($9.00). They give good sized portions. The atmosphere was pleasant. Service was nice. The prices are reasonable. The I highly recommend this restaurant.
Andy was an excellent server and the food came out at a very reasonable time extremely hot and fresh. I had the penne ala vodka with chicken and so huge. Incredibly fair price for quality and quantity. Will definitely be coming after this first visit was perfect.
